Glade Hike-in Camping Yurt

The 20-foot Glade Yurt is located amid a glade of evergreen and aspen trees on a dog-friendly trail called Fairyland. This is good news for guests who want to bring their furry friends in winter!

The yurt is semi-primitive, but comfortable, and features:
• Comfortable beds for up to 8: 2 twin and 3 double futon sofa beds;
• Pillows, flat sheets and pillowcases;
• Hammock;
• Wood stove for heat with firewood;
• Dining table and chairs;
• Kitchen area with some cooking supplies and a three-burner propane cook stove;
• Propane lantern’
• Port-A-Potty.

This is still camping in a tent, not a hotel room. There is no room or maid service. Heat is provided by a wood stove (wood provided). It can get cold overnight, but not as cold as in a tent only. You must provide your own sleeping bag (at least 30º or colder rating recommended), food, and transport (hike or mountain bike) to the yurt

We provide a wagon for helping transport your stuff to the yurt, and gear delivery is available for $50 (1 trip out and 1 trip back). Gear must fit in the back of a Polaris Ranger (approx. 36 x 54 x 11 inches). Please pack your gear for your yurt stay with this in mind. (Leave things you don’t need at the yurt in the car or at home. We have had people pack hair dryers for instance.)

In summer we provide 15-25 gallons water, but it is always a good idea to bring some with you.

Kitchen items, pots, pans, plates, silverware etc. and a stove and lantern are provided in the yurt. See complete yurt instructions (available after booking) for a more comprehensive list.
