Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. PLEASE read all information carefully before booking!

 We call it “Glamping”

It is a a 1.25-mile easy to moderate hike (or bike) to the Little John Yurt (at around 9,800 feet).

Little John is 16-foot in diameter and has 2 bunk beds: 1 double/twin and 1 twin/twin with room for 4-5.

This is CAMPING, not a hotel room. There is no running water, electricity, room or maid service. A wood stove provides heat. You must provide your own sleeping bag (at least 30º or colder rating recommended), pillow and food.

Heat is provided by a wood stove, with firewood provided. It can still get cold overnight, but not as cold as in a tent. You must provide your own sleeping bag (at least 20º or colder rating recommended in winter and summer), pillow, food, and transport (hike or mountain bike) to the yurt (we provide a wagon).

Please pack your gear for your yurt stay with this in mind.

In summer, we provide at least 15 gallons water, but it is always a good idea to bring some with you.

Kitchen items, pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. and a stove and lantern are also provided in the yurt. See yurt instructions (link below) for a more comprehensive list.
