Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. PLEASE read all information carefully before booking!

We call it “Glamping”

It is a 0.7 mile easy hike (or bike) to the Latir Yurt — 20-foot diameter beauty with 2 double/twin bunk beds and a full futon sofa bed.

The Latir Yurt is definitely more upscale than a tent, but it is still CAMPING. There is no running water, electricity, room or maid service. A wood stove provides heat (we supply firewood). It can still get cold overnight, but not as cold as in a tent. Bring your own food and sleeping bag (at least 30º or colder rating recommended in summer) or rent one of ours for $20 a night. You can hike or mountain bike to the yurt with your gear (we provide a wagon) or for $50 we’ll deliver your gear out and back. Please pack your gear for your yurt stay with this in mind (review Yurt FAQs for more information).

In summer, we provide at least 15 gallons water, but it is always a good idea to bring some with you.

The yurt is stocked with kitchen items, pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. , a three-burner camp stove, lantern, and propane. See yurt instructions (link below) for a more comprehensive list.
